THE BANGURAS ARE LAUNCHING INTO SIERRA LEONE

The Banguras are launching Rabboni Missions International in Sierra Leone in 2009. Gregory and Agnes have been doing missions work in Sierra Leone for the past five years from the Ivory Coast.
Rabboni Missions International has trained more than 200 church planters and 15 literacy teachers in Sierra Leone. They have discovered many missions and ministry opportunities that can be done in the war-ravaged West African nation. This nation is trying to recover from a bloody civil war that carried away more than 75000 lives. Some of the survivals from the civil war are amputees, widows, orphans, homeless and displaced. There is a great work to do there.
Sierra Leone is a Muslim dominated country with 10% Christians. Illiteracy rate is higher than 65%. There is no theological seminary or Bible college that is offering Masters degree program.
The Banguras are prayerfully launching Rabboni Missions International in Sierra Leone to meet spiritual and socio-economic needs of the people. They are going to establish a Christian Mission Center (CMC) in Kenema. The Center will host training programs for the following:-
* Church Planting & Missions
* Literacy
* Bible College
* Cottage Industry
* Etc.
Gregory and Agnes are inviting you to pray with them for the following:-
* Rent for the Christian Mission Center - $2400 USD.
* Rent for their house - $2400 USD.
* Salary for the Secretary $1500 USD for one year.
* 3 desktop computers.
* 2 laptop computers
* 4 Wheel-driver vehicle
* $3500 for a radio ministry
If the Lord touches you to help the Banguras launch in Sierra Leone, please contact them by email: rabbonimissionsinternational@gmail.com

RIVERLINE CHURCH PLANTING

A team is going to riverline villages to plant churches in Liberia.

Rabboni Missions International Inc. is partnering with local churches in Liberia and Sierra Leone to plant churches in riverline villages where neither cars nor bicycles can go. The church planters go to those villages in canoes which are the only means of transportation. They paddle the canoes long distances to the villages. Those villages are dominated by Muslims and African religion worshipers.
In order to do more effective trainings and church plantings, we need outboard machines to put behind the boat that can carry more persons than the canoe. It is safer to use the boat than the canoe, most especially in the rainy season when the rivers overflow and the current can be so rough.
The boat can also be used for income generation as it transports the villagers from their villages to the towns for market purpose and to attend clinics when they are sick.
The cost of a boat and an outboard machine is approximately $2000 USD. One boat can reproduce itself while planting churches. We trust God for two (2) boats and two (2) outboard machines for Liberia and Sierra Leone.

HELP US ROOF CHURCHES IN LIBERIA

Rabboni Missions International Inc. is working with several churches in Liberia that are planting churches in the interior of the country. In 2007, Rabboni Missions International trained 45 church planters in Liberia who are planting churches. Some of these churches meet in homes and some under trees.

Reports reaching us inform us that some churches need roofing sheets to cover their buildings. One packet of roofing sheets costs $125.00 USD. This amount includes transportation to the villages.

Please pray with us for funds to buy the roofing sheets in Liberia. If the Lord touches you to help, please contact us on global12project@yahoo.com for more information.

PRAY WITH US FOR A JEEP

Gregory and Agnes are mostly holding training seminars and conferences in the interior. Sometimes they have to walk some miles; sometimes ride in old transport buses or trucks to reach the village pastors.

Gregory has spent nights on bush and muddy highways on the way to villages where they set up training programs and for village crusades. A good and strong jeep will be very much helpful for the work in West Africa.

Photos:
Top - Gregory was waiting for the bus to take him to Makeni and Bo to train church planters.
Bottom - The bus had a tyre puncture in the middle of the muddy road.
